I am gonna break up my snow posts with something a little different today. got this old wooden box free at work. They were cleaning out the church and it was destined for the trash. I decided I would take it and try to do something with it. Well, it sat in my garage for months....all ugly and bright blue. Then, it hit me to paint it black and make a seat out of it for my mud room . So I used paint and fabric I had on hand. The only thing I purchased was the batting and foam. I am happy with the way it turned out. I can store stuff inside too. I have a couple more projects in the works. Hope to get them finished soon so I can share them. Not sure reading all these crafty, home decorating blogs is a good thing or not. LOL.
