Essentials of a snow storm

Birthday gifts.....check
Birthday cake.....check
Milk.......well not quite enough probably (see below)

The snow has started and we are all home! I hope the milk lasts LOL. I dropped the extra gallon out the back of the SUV when I opened the door. There was milk all over the garage, driveway, car and me. I couldn't brave the store again. We will just be calcium dreprived if it goes on too long!!!

Oh No! I hate milk messes, especially on such a large scale. I hope the milk lasts, and you all stay nice and warm!

The question to ask yourself now though is do you have oranges? Orange juice? Any Vitamin C containing food product? It's scurvy you should worry about. The pirates didn't and you see what happened to them! This is what my kids told me when I went to the store yesterday, "Mom get clementine b/c they have Vit. C and we don't wanna get pirate scurvy." Presently we have 26 inches of snow and Vitamin C pouring out of our ears! Stopped by from SITS.

Are you in the DC area? We went to the store Wednesday nite, so we're all stocked up! We've got 2 feet of snow so far, and it's still coming down. Geesh! SITS sent me by, and I'm glad they did...

We are in Maryland! Several feet of snow out there....hard to tell exactly how much with the blowing and drifting.

We're in Maryland, too....and I just updated my blog. So fun, love the blizzard. (of course, I want it all gone in a week and warm temps!)

Sorry about that milk mess. The family will live if you run out of milk for a few days. Happy Birthday to your daughter. My daughter turns 11 in May. :)

Just the other day I tapped my milk container against the counter and it cracked. They have totally cheaped down the packaging and it is causing way too many problems, if you ask me.

Sounds like other than milk you are TOTALLY prepared!

Hope you are warm and dry tonight!
