Fighting the FUNK!!!

I have been fighting the funk for awhile now and have been winning the battle. But I feel like it may be starting to win over me now.........I am not really sure what this particular funk is about......maybe the end of Spring break.....lack of spring time weather.....a combo of a lot of things probably!!!!

I really try to have a postive attitude most of the time. But it is a struggle right now!!!

Hoping to kick this FUNK....outta here soon!!!

Oh Girlfriend, I've been there! Several times as a matter of fact. I actually wrote a few posts about it and one of my blog friends gave some good advice about "Funk City". Go here to read it and take her advice. It works! LOL

I agree with you 100%. I have been having a heck of a time with feeling human over the past few months. I can't tell if it is because I need something new in my life or if it is just that winter blues business. I know that the spring weather just not coming is making me feel really down in the dumps. It seems like everyday when I wake up, there are frost advisories, rain, or just cold temps. I need some sunlight, capris, and flip flops!! Maybe a tanning bed for sunlight?! Haha!
Here's to some warm weather!

(((Lou Ann))) I'm sure it has a lot to do with the bad weather you had during Spring Break and not being able to get outside. Lately when I'm feeling that way the only thing that pulls me out of it is to get out of the house and I'm usually a huge home body.

I hope you can pull out of this soon!!

The best way to fight the funk is to take time to SPOIL YOURSELF. Take a bubble bath in candlelight, go to the library and check out a stack of books, give yourself a pedicure, do whatever it takes to make you feel special. You're always giving to others, you NEED to give to yourself. You deserve it!

I'm feeling a funk this week too. Mine is largely hormonal, as this is always my funk week. The cold, rainy weather isn't helping. Nor is the overload of work to do and lack of time to do it.

Exercise always gets me out of my funk. Whether it's yoga or running, a little endorphin rush seems to help sometimes. If you live up north, visit a tanning salon and try a high pressure bed. (No burn only tan). Good luck!
