From Fugly to Fab

So I found this coffee table at goodwill a few weeks ago for a whopping $14.  It  is a nice sturdy piece....good bones! I love the shape of the legs and the shelf.  But, but it was NOT so pretty!
So I gave it a good sanding and painting and now it is looking fabulous! I painted it with Heirloom White and I am love with the color.

Found some cute baskets that fit on the shelf perfectly!
I love it now!  Can't decide where to put it though.  Either my living room or our game room.  Decisions...decisions!!!!

I'm so so SO in awe! I always buy furniture and mean to fix it up, but I'm so bad at actually getting around to doing it. And those baskets are beyond darling.

That's adorable, LouAnn! Great job!
I need a project like that...

You did a good job of redoing it. It is a lot of work to sand and paint a piece of furniture. I have a piece now in the garage that is calling my name. LOL!

That's perfect! Good job. I am keeping an eye out for a 'good bones' coffee table myself. I've got a bucket of chocolate brown paint ready and waiting!

What a great find! And that totally gives me an idea of what to do with a table that I bought years ago that needs some TLC. I had given up because it is veneered, but a paint job would be great.

Wow! Looks great! You did an awesome job with it! Looks like something out of Potty Barn Magazine now. I would put it in the living room where everyone can see it! :)

The bundt cake looks oh so yummy too!

Stopping by from SITS

That table looks awesome. I can't believe what a great job you did on it. I'm always in awe of crafty women. I can't even sew a button. Did someone teach you how to do things like that or is it just in you?
